ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever abandons lying, which is falsehood, will be built a palace in the lowest part of Paradise. And whoever abandons arguing, even if he (1) is right, will be built a palace in its middle part. And whoever improves his manners, will be built a palace in its highest part.” 1. Masculine pronouns are generally used in Arabic as a means for referring to both men and women when the meaning is left general and is not otherwise specified. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب السير باب ما جاء فى خروج النساء فى الحرب

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ الصَّوَّافُ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الضُّبَعِىُّ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَغْزُو بِأُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ وَنِسْوَةٍ مَعَهَا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يَسْقِينَ الْمَاءَ وَيُدَاوِينَ الْجَرْحَى. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذٍ. وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to go to battle accompanied by Umm-Sulaym and a group of women from Al-Anṣār (Supporters of Madīnah) who provided drinking water and nursed the wounded. Click on ḥadīth to read more
